Friday

Friday was spent with more sight seeing we all did different thing I spent the morning with Hanna W.doing some shopping I really had a great time I didn't know Hanna all that well she is 17 . I had left my camera at the Hotel and no one else was with was so not to many pics of that day we did get a pretzel from a vender. it was good, but i would not get another . while we were eating we thought it would be fun to share with the pigeons I was a amazed how many there were and how fast they doubled once we started feeding them. i felt like the bird lady ,untill we got in trouble for feeding them who knew that feeding the birds would be against the rules

some of the girls went to central park but I was afraid that my scooter would die, the subway didn't have a Handicap

stop by park (no elevator) and so I did not go I was a little bummed but there was plenty to see and do close by this castle is in central park it was in the movie enchanted

Wicked

we ended the night by going to the Broadway play wicked just 4 of us went the others had seen it. I never reading the book(shocker)had heard great things about the play & book. it did not disappoint me. when we got there we didn't get handicap setting and we learned we would have to go
up 13 stairs me not being one to back down from a challenge and my friends are more determined then I am they

look at me and they said are you sure

mar and I said lets do it the worst thing that could happen is I fall.so I grabbed a hold of the rail one of them moved my bad leg up each of the stairs while the other took apart my scooter and hauled it up the stairs so I could drive it to my seat. it was way worth it I loved it! so leaving was a

little harder to get out but I made it! once again because of some wonderful friends and a few kind people . cant help but think I am so blessed.

Madame Tussauds/ Empire State

On the first day we had planned to hit several different sites.we had bought ahead of time a card called the new york pass which got us in to several different sites so we wanted to get are money worth. so after we had lunch at the hard rock cafe we headed down the road to the Empire State building well it had started to rain it was a lite spirkle so we made sure we had are rain gear and headed out know it was like 20blocks away(ok I cant remember how far it was really but it was far) so when we got there it had stopped raining and we head in they had a Ride called the NY Skyride and since it was free with are card we why not well it was really lame and the worse part was we never got to go up to the top because it had got so cloudy you could not see anything. so this is the only picture I have being there . so after that we head back to were are hotel was and now it is puring rain. I was glad I had my hot pink ran coat and umbrella. now you would think I would stay dry but here the problem my friend did her best to keep me and my scooter dry when we were in between building they did a great job it was when we would go to cross the street the wind would catch the umbrella and I being short caught all the rain, it was really quit funny.the thing the impressed me the most was the way my scooter held up threw out the day it went further then it has ever gone on one charge it new when we were back at the hotel it gave out out there were my friends pushing me down the hall to our room. to get charged. if this wasn't enough to do in one day we were only back to get ready for the n

so we finely got back by are hotel and just up the Road was Madame Tussauds Wax Museum it was amazing to see the star actual size the are really dainty ( and not dainty like me just in case you were compering my favorite was Julie Roberts I would love to be like here!

here we all are smack dab in the middle of time square! i must start this post by saying thanks to my girl friends, I am blessed with the most amazing Friend I need to start this post telling how I ended up there just before Christmas's 2010 my friend called and ask if i was busy in the month of March and of course I was not she didn't say why but from the conversation I thought she might t be coming to visit me which made me very happy. about a month later she called and told me that they had gotten a ticked to come and visit KY. that in its self made me very happy but the she said and while I was visiting we were going to make a trip to New York I was shock and so exited . I have always wanted to go and see all they craziness that i see on tv and it did not disappoint me I LOVE IT!

And my trip has begun!!

at the end of march I started my next adventure .I was off to good old Kentucky with a bonus trip to New York. this I stayed at the Davis home and the brains behind it all the first few days we just took it easy and rested up for the big trip.

Cindy got a new toy when we were there a camera! she has started a new photography business so there here is were you could find Cindy behind the computer editing picture

Christmas eve

it seems to be that we got no pictures of me and Gary on Christmas eve so here is a picture of me and holly waiting for the show to start and after a great dinner so full and so happy!

all the kids played or sang something it amazed how far they had come in the three years doing Christmas with them this is Danielle playing the cello

this is Seana playing the saxophone Kayla sang Capri sang and Kristen played not sure what it is called but is was some drum thing they are all very talented

Lucy Was the sheep she did a great job and very believable it was like she was made for the roll

while trying to get ready for my trip to Cheryl's I was in need of my eyebrows waxed,so I called my friend pearl to help me she stooped in after work put the wax in the microwave and checked and decided it needed 30 seconds more well we started talking and the timer went of and oops 30 seconds or 3 minutes it makes a difference when melting wax on the bright side I am sure it was a good talk!

I am back

I took a 6month break but now I am back ! it might be that I am back in Kentucky were my blog started .here hoping i can remember everything.
you know its been a long time I just went to my photos and they are gone I am sure Gary will find them so I will have to wait.

to end the week I wanted to get the Gary and his family together for a picture And I must say it turned out wonderful! I am so grateful to have married into a fabulous Family

the crafting

after all the food was gone it can only be time for one thing Craft time with Cheryl!for several years I have been able to get together with Cheryl to do my Christmas cards and make some kind of craft last year I thought I would be supper women and try to kill Cheryl with one to many crafts so I tried to keep it simple this year. so I got started on my cards did 8 Notebooks for Christmas gifts made these cute blocks that had different 4 letter words for different holiday on them and they are so cute and of course I did mine wrong it was funny I was looking at my mother in laws and keep trying to tell her she was doing hers wrong and she was not getting it so I was fine you will see at the end and she will wish she would listen to me well the laugh was on me mine was wrong oh well we had a good laugh at me
well you can see what the dogs were doing while we were playing Sam and Riley love to play together I like to think if we had kids they would be a lot like are dogs they would love to play together and love to make a mess and because they would me and Cheryl kids there would love to see how much they could get away with!

and Lucy would be in amazement with how much energy those young pups have!

thanksgiving

ahhh Thanksgiving what a treat this year we were in Utah at Cheryl and Ralph's house and the put on quite the feast. was a formal dinner and it was so good
we started with a Squash soup and a veggie platter oh and a I almost forgot the shrimp cocktail we had all the traditional fixing ! one things for sure Garey family can cook which is good can eat!

Gary pizza

So come Monday Gary and Paul came to Cheryl to meet up for thanksgiving. a family favorite food has become
Gary homemade pizza it is the best so we now know if we getting together we will at some point have pizza must admit it really so good ! crisp crust that is chewy and don't get me on his sauce

huntington

After an amazing weekend nde went to Huntington to see my mother in law sister we had such a good time Gary's Mom is from England when she came to USA she came with her sister Hillery so it was so fun to get together with them we had a early thanks giving with them it was soo good and there was so much of it everything from prime rib to trifull because there were so many of us we went to the Town Hall to eat i ate way to much but it was soo good.

time out for women

The week before Thanksgiving Me and my Morher-in-law went down to Utah to my sisster in law for thanksgiving. but more inportant we went to time out for women I feel very blessed to have in-laws that I love to be
around and will put up with me!

Cheryl made it so fun and we were so prepared for the weekend of fun and leaning and inspiration. she gave us a bag with everything we could possible needed everything from a notebook and pen to a necklaces and it wouldn't be a Survival kit with out snack

just when I thought it was a secret I was proven wrong they all know I am special needs we got a good laugh over this

I am so great full for Cheryl who goes out of her way to do so much for me I she is more then family she is my friend !
